Helpful Information : Current CPR/First Aid Certification is required for admission to ALL MAT Program part 2/classroom courses. To schedule your part 2/classroom course: Find a MAT Trainer here Official MAT Program certificates are issued after completing your part 2/classroom portion of the training. Official certificates are not found on the MAT Online Learning Center. They are found on the MAT Program Website: mat.medhomeplus.org under the View My Certificate Report tab. To enroll in an online/part 1 course, please click on the course title of the course you need to take (in green). Skip available courses Available courses MAT Independent Study (IS) Part 1 Version 3.0 The MAT IS Course covers administering oral liquids and tablets, inhaler and nebulizer, ear and eye medications, topical medications and EpiPen epinephrine auto-injector. Successfully completing MAT IS Part 1 enables you to print your MAT IS Part 1 Completion Certificate, which is required for admission to the MAT IS Part 2 classroom course. The Part 1 Completion Certificate is valid for 6 months . HANDOUTS: You will need the MAT IS Handouts while taking MAT IS Part 1. You do not need to print the handouts. You can download them directly to your computer for reference during this online course. WARNING: You are NOT AUTHORIZED to give medications to children using the skills covered in this course until you have successfully completed BOTH the MAT IS Part 1 online course AND the MAT IS Part 2 classroom course, and have earned your official MAT Certificate . ADMISSION REQUIREMENT : Evidence of current CPR/First Aid certification is required for admission to all MAT Program part 2/classroom courses. MAT First Renewal Part 1 Version 3.0 The MAT First Renewal Course covers administering oral liquids and tablets, inhaler and nebulizer, ear and eye medications, topical medications and EpiPen epinephrine auto-injector in a condensed format. Successfully completing MAT First Renewal Part 1 enables you to print your MAT First Renewal Part 1 Completion Certificate, which is required for admission to the MAT First Renewal Part 2 classroom course. This part 1 completion certificate is valid for 3 months . HANDOUTS: You will need the MAT Handouts while taking MAT First Renewal Part 1. You can download them directly to your computer for reference during this online course. REQUIREMENT: Only providers who hold a current or recently expired (within 90 days) MAT Certificate are eligible to take the MAT First Renewal Course. Those who hold a current MAT First Renewal Certificate are NOT eligible to renew via the MAT First Renewal Course. You must bring your qualifying MAT Certificate to the MAT First First Renewal Part 2 classroom course to be admitted. If you’ve lost your official MAT Certificate or need to request a new copy, please contact our MAT Customer Service System: matsupport@medhomeplus.org IMPORTANT: You must take and pass the MAT First Renewal Online Test to complete this part 1 online course. You only get two attempts to pass this test with a score of 80% or higher. The test is open book and you are encouraged to use your handouts. Watching the videos is optional. There is no instruction or practice in the part 2 class. This course ONLY covers administering liquid Benadryl, metered-dose inhalers, and EpiPen epinephrine auto-injector. Successfully completing AMAT Part 1 enables you to print your AMAT Part 1 Completion Certificate , which is required for admission to the AMAT Part 2 classroom course . This part 1 completion certificate is valid for 6 months . HANDOUTS: You will need the AMAT Handouts while taking this online course. You can download them directly to your computer for reference. MAT Adrenaclick Epinephrine Auto-Injector Version 3.0 The MAT Adrenaclick online course provides additional device-specific training on the Adrenaclick epinephrine auto-injector.
